"Essays by such contributors as Andreas Dettwiler, R. Barry Matlock, Michael Tait, et al. are compiled to illustrate the roles played by Torah in the development of Christianity. The works by early Christians of influence are analyzed with regard to the impact of Jewish law on the teachings of Christ and its extension into Christian tradition. Drawing from an array of scholars dealing with a wide range of sources from the Old and New Testaments, this grouping of essays offers a multitude of perspectives on Torah and Christology. Although the contributors' positions on the subject are often oppositional, they all agree that the development of Christianity was massively impacted by Torah." -Eithne O'Leyne, BOOK NEWS, Inc.
