Dr. Madan’s major areas of research include Self-assembled Supramolecular systems viz. liposomes, niosomes, cyclodextrin, nano- & micro-particles and solid-lipid nanoparticles. The focus is centered onto the exploitation of US FDA approved biomaterials in combination with other potential lipids and polymers to develop the innovative dosage forms and drug delivery systems in order to improve the bioavailability, stability, safety (tolerance) and patient-compliance.Whilst a wide range of applications are being taken up, the special emphasis is given to augment the aqueous solubility and bioavailability of lipophilic drugs. Dr. Tathagata Dutta has earned his M.Pharm and PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar and completed his postdoctoral studies from School of Pharmacy & Diamantina Institute for cancer, Immunology and Metabolic Medicine, University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia and was engaged in development of RNAi therapeutics for effective management of cancer. He has served as Chief Scientific Officer (CSO), Vice President (R&D), Executive Director, Managing Director & CEO of several reputed Multinational Pharmaceutical Companies for more than two decades. He is the editorial board member of several international journals on drug discovery & delivery research. His research interests include novel drug delivery systems, dendrimers, liposomes, polymer bioconjugates, tissue targeted drug delivery systems, nano drug delivery systems, gene therapy, genetic immunization, depot injections, gene delivery, and development of RNAi therapeutics. Presently, he is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of JODAS EXPOIM Pvt Ltd. Dr. Sodhi has a doctorate in pharmacology with more than 14 years of experience in guiding the postgraduate students for scientific projects in an academic setting. While teaching, he strongly emphasizes the use of bioinformatics tools for literature survey, formulationof hypothesis, and guide students to publish their research work in peer reviewed journals. I am also delivering lessons to postgraduate students in drug evaluationtechniques and animal models used in experimental pharmacology.He is a Coordinator/ Member Secretary for Institutional animal’s ethical committee (IAEC) for the conduct of the meetings for the approval of experimental animals. He is actively engaged in maintaining the animal house facilities per the norms. Dr. Pandey has a PhD from Dr. Harisingh Gour University, and a Masters degree from the same institution. Prof. Ramesh Chandra is a distinguished scientist; Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, London and an outstanding researcher in the field of Biomedical Sciences. Currently, he is the Vice-Chancellor at Maharaja Surajmal Brij University, Bharatpur, Rajasthan, and Founder Director of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Center for Biomedical Research (ACBR), University of Delhi. He is Official resource person to the Minister and Department of Science and Technology in the kingdom of Lesotho, South Africa. He started his research career at the University of Delhi, then at The New York Hospital-Cornell University Medical College, and The Rockefeller University, New York; State University of New York at Stony brook, New York; Harvard University Medical School-Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) jointly at MIT, Cambridge, MA, USA. Prof. Chandra has been Vice-Chancellor, Bundelkhand University, Jhansi (1999-2005) as well as President of the Indian Chemical Society, Member, Planning Commission, Government of U.P. India; Secretary - Zaheer Science Foundation, New Delhi and Non-Official Director, Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd, Government of India. He was also Head of the Department of Chemistry, University of Delhi. He is recipient of several international recognitions: J. William Fulbright Scholarship, The Rockefeller Foundation USA-Biotechnology Career Award, Award of the Highest Honor of Soka University, Tokyo, Japan; Millennium Plaques of Honor (Life Time Achievement Award for contribution in Science & Technology) by the Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA), Lifetime Achievement Award of the Indian Chemical Society (ICS); UGC Research Scientist Award; UGC Career Award; Rajib Goyal Award for Young Scientists and others. Prof. Chandra shows deep commitment to the cause of higher education & research and possesses in ample measure quality of dynamic leadership, vision required for building academic institutions and excelled in his academic pursuits. To illustrate, he has to his credit several international patents, 9 Books; 28 Book Chapters; and more than 387 original Scientific Research Papers in International journals of repute. He has mentored more than 100 Ph.D students.
