Beskrivning
Have you ever stopped to consider that Jesus Christ used the same tools each day as a carpenter wood, a hammer and nails--that were used to crucify him? Knowing that he would die on the cross, how did he cope with this reality? What can you learn from him to deal effectively with the stresses you face every day?In a brief but powerful read, the authors share insights and real life stories from a cross section of Christians. These stories not only allow Christians and non-Christians to more fully appreciate what Christ did on Calvary, but also model how to use the spiritual tools Jesus employed to deal successfully with the rigors of modern life and walk more closely with the Master Carpenter.

The work of the Master Carpenter, before, during and after his crucifixion, death and resurrection is wonderfully illustrated in this creative manuscript. And the testimonies of His apprentices shared in this work, demonstrate that He will not leave His workbench until He returns to take them home. --Dr. Brent Garrison. Past President, Southwestern UniversityLarry Mathis and Todd Dufek have given us a window into the heart of our Lord’s treatment of people. For the soul that seeks to become a disciple of Jesus Christ the tools God uses in our lives are lived out before us in the testimonies shared by those who have been touched by the Savior’s loving hands. Observe discipleship personalized. -- Dr. Darryl DelHousay, President of Phoenix Seminary As I read-- the realization of His foreknowledge and purposeful life journey, working with the “tools of His trade” as a carpenter, were transformed into “life tools” of sanctified service as He works His finest and best work of grace in and through our lives. A powerful book, a humble realization!! -- Naomi Rhode, CSP, CPAE Speaker Hall of Fame, Co-Founder SmartPractice
