Beskrivning
An Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award winner—Grand Prize and Young Adult Fiction. When Kate Pierce-Keller’s grandmother gives her a strange blue medallion and speaks of time travel, sixteen-year-old Kate assumes the old woman is delusional. But it all becomes horrifyingly real when a murder in the past destroys the foundation of Kate’s present-day life. Suddenly, that medallion is the only thing protecting Kate from blinking out of existence.Kate learns that the 1893 killing is part of something much more sinister, and her genetic ability to time travel makes Kate the only one who can fix the future. Risking everything, she travels back in time to the Chicago World’s Fair to try to prevent the murder and the chain of events that follows.Changing the timeline comes with a personal cost—if Kate succeeds, the boy she loves will have no memory of her existence. And regardless of her motives, does Kate have the right to manipulate the fate of the entire world? Publisher’s Note: Timebound was originally released as Time’s Twisted Arrow.

Mer information

Rysa Walker grew up on a cattle ranch in the South. Her options for entertainment were talking to cows and reading books. On the rare occasion that she gained control of the television, she watched Star Trek and imagined living in the future, on distant planets, or at least in a town big enough to have a stoplight. These days, when not writing, she teaches history and government in North Carolina, where she shares an office with her husband and a golden retriever named Lucy. She enjoys yoga, über-dark chocolate, Galaga, and Scrabble. She still doesn’t get control of the TV very often, thanks to her sports-obsessed kids. Timebound is her debut novel.

No ifs, ands, or buts about it, this book is awesome.” —Marked By Books“Wonderful characters, flawless descriptions, high stakes, action, romance, and time-jumping. I seriously cannot recommend this book enough. It is absolutely amazing.” —The Bibliophile’s Corner“Completely fascinated with this story. I love movies with time travel, and books. This has to be the best time travel book I have read.” —Michelle‘s Paranormal Vault“Ordinarily, I’m stuck when I’m in a Doctor Who mood because, really, what even comes close? But I must say, I’ve finally found something that fits when I’m in a mood for The Doctor…” —The Eternal Scribe“Young adult with a sci-fi, historical flair to it. However, it can be enjoyed by adults as well. There is no doubt about that. It is one of those rare occasions where an author’s love for her characters bleeds through the words.” —Night Owl Reviews“The thrill of the story and the excitement of time traveling to foil a sinister plan will keep readers engrossed.” —Library Media Connection, Recommended
