Tameka battles her way through the Vast Collective to disarm Imminent's designs. With Xelan at her side, they lead the Shadow into dangerous missions of subterfuge and sabotage for the sake of everything they've lost and everything they hope to build.

Not to mention Rayne, who was trapped in the martyr complex and taken to Enki at the hands of those who betrayed the Shadow. Well, maybe. Kinda. The treachery motivation is still unclear.

Meanwhile, Imminent and Enki announce ridiculous bounties on the Shadow, tempting the best and the worst galaxy-wide to collect on the very people trying to save them. As the Shadow's missions outline a terrible scheme, perhaps Imminent's intentions are worse than Tameka thought.

Without fully understanding the scale of their enemies' plans, Tameka, Xelan, and the Shadow fight to save Rayne and end Imminent. With the entire galaxy in jeopardy, what price must they pay to free the Vast Collective from Enki's grip?
