Camilla De La Bedoyere (Author) Camilla de la Bedoyere has an academic background in zoology and has written more than 200 books for children and adults, many of which explore the natural world. She has also worked as a journalist, editing a children's page in a national newspaper, and is a specialist reading teacher. She is a Fellow of the Zoological Society of London.Britta Teckentrup (Illustrator) Britta Teckentrup is an award-winning illustrator, author and fine artist, born in Hamburg. She moved to London in 1988 to study illustration and fine art at St Martin's College and the Royal College of Art. Her awards include two Special Mentions at the Bologna Ragazzi Award for Alle Wetter and The Egg. Don't Wake Up Tiger was Dutch picture book of the year 2018 and Under the Same Sky shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Award. Her book Tiger Tiger Burning Bright was shortlisted for Waterstones Book of the Year 2020.

It would be tempting to say that the fabulous quality of the illustration is the star of the show but to be honest the artwork and the text work together in a sort of symbiosis that adds up to more than the sum of its parts. . . great for the personal collection of any youngster who is becoming intrigued by the dinosaur story.
