David A. Moore, PsyD is a Senior Staff Clinical Health Psychologist and the Director of Trauma and Acute Care Surgical Psychology Services at Henry Ford Hospital, in the Department of Surgery, Division of Acute Care Surgery, and the Department of Psychiatry. Additionally, he serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, as well as the Vice Chair of the Henry Ford Hospital Ethics Committee. He has extensive clinical and research experience in academic medical centers across the US, including three Level I trauma centers. Dr. Moore has served in leadership roles at all stages of training with a deep interest in facilitating the integration of psychology programs into medical settings and nationally providing education to community and professional audiences. Greg Mahr, MD is a psychiatrist, teacher and writer. He is director of Consultation Liaison Psychiatry at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit and is on faculty at the Wayne State University School of Medicine and Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. Dreamwork and psychodynamic psychology have been long standing interests of Dr. Mahr. He co-authored The Wisdom of Dreams: Science, Synchronicity and the Language of the Soul with Chris Drake. Greg is an experienced writer and has published flash fiction and poetry in a variety of medical and literary journals. His poetry chapbook, Open Heart, was published in 2023 by Celery City Press.
