Shelley L. Craig is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professor at the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work at the University of Toronto, and Canada Research Chair in Sexual and Gender Diverse Youth (SGDY). Her program of research, based on decades of practice, focuses on cultivating resilience in sexual and gender diverse (SGD) populations. She developed the first evidence-based interventions for SGDY mental health and leads the International Partnership for Queer Youth Resilience (INQYR). She has received research funding from federal entities such as the National Institute of Health (NIH), Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC). She has published over 150 academic publications and implemented affirmative CBT with hundreds of clinicians and community organizations.
