The Handbook of Latin American Screen Cultures

The Handbook of Latin American Screen Cultures is a guide to screen culture created across the areas which fall under the broad imaginary that is Latin America, encompassing North, Central, and South America. Locating these cinemas is integral to the analysis given the variety of countries, the different peaks and troughs and the long and uneven histories of production at national and transnational levels. The handbook takes into account the ever-evolving aesthetic and generic approaches as well as the creatives involved in their production.
