Christa Knellwolf King is a literary historian currently positioned as guest professor in the Department of English at the University of Konstanz. She has published widely on early modern literature, the age of Enlightenment, and cultural transformations of scientific thought. Recent publications include The Enlightenment World (Routledge, 2004), Frankenstein's Science: Experimentation and Discovery in Romantic Culture, 1780–1830 (Ashgate, 2008), Faustus and the Promises of the New Science, c.1580–1730 (Ashgate, 2008) and Stories of Empire: Narrative Strategies for the Legitimation of an Imperial World Order (WVT, 2009). Christopher Norris is Distinguished Research Professor in Philosophy at the University of Cardiff.
