Katarzyna Dziubalska-Kołaczyk is Professor of English and Linguistics at Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań. Her recent publications include Phonotactics and Morphonotactics of Polish and English (2016, with P. Zydorowicz et al.), Explaining Phonotactics using NAD (2014), and Natural Growth Theory of Acquisition (2022, with M. Wrembel). She is member of the Academia Europaea and the Agder Academy, corresponding member of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, and was President of Societas Linguistica Europaea. Patricia Donegan is Retired Professor of Linguistics at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa (1989-2016). Her notable publications include The Study of Natural Phonology (1979, with D. Stampe), Hypotheses of Natural Phonology (2009, with Stampe), On the Natural Phonology of Vowels (1985), and The Emergence of Phonological Representation (2015). Wolfgang U. Dressler is Professor Emeritus of Linguistics, University of Vienna and Austrian Academy of Sciences, Dr.hc.mult, member of six academies, and honorary member of the Linguistic Society of America, Societas Linguistica Europaea, and Circle Linguistique de Prague. His 700 publications include Morphonology (1985), Explaining Natural Phonology (1984), Morphopragmatics (1994, with L. M. Barbaresi), On a Semiotic Theory of Preferences in Language (1990), Principles of Naturalness in Phonology and across Components (1996), and Natural Morphology (2017, with Kilani-Schoch).
