B. S. Everitt is Professor Emeritus of the Institute of Psychiatry, King's College London. Skrondal is Senior Statistician at the Norwegian Institute of Public Health, Professor of Biostatistics in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Oslo, and Honorary Professor at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
