Bay Area police receive a letter. A man claims he's about to start a brutal killing spree and mentions Quint by name, drawing him into the case.

The murders begin and the media nicknames him The Bay Area Butcher. It becomes an international story with The Butcher's letters and fascination with Quint at the forefront.
