Each passage is followed by questions that require students to improve the passage or to correct an error. This workbook will develop and improve writing skills, as well as prepare students for the revising and editing tasks on the new STAAR Reading tests.

About the New STAAR Reading Tests

The STAAR tests have recently been redesigned. After the 2020-2021 school year, students will no longer take a STAAR Writing test in grades 4 and 7. Instead, writing will be tested for all grades as part of the STAAR Reading tests.
