ROBERT MUCCIGROSSO is Professor Emeritus of History at Brooklyn College in New York, where he taught for thirty-seven years. He has edited three volumes of the Research Guide to American Historical Biography (1988). He has written, among other works, American Gothic: The Mind and Art of Ralph Adams Cram (1980), Celebrating the New World: Chicago's Columbian Exposition of 1893 (1993), and with David R. Contosta, America in the Twentieth Century (1988).RON BLAZEK is Professor of Information Studies at Florida State University, where he teaches courses in reference/information services and bibliography. He is author of The Humanities: A Selective Guide to Information Sources (4th ed., 1994) and United States History: A Selective Guide to Information Sources (1994), both of which were named Choice Magazine Outstanding Academic Books.
