With more than a decade of experience as a consultant in OMFS and head and neck surgery, he adopts an innovative approach to his practice, integrating the latest cutting-edge technologies.A prolific author, Professor Ahmed has written multiple textbooks on maxillofacial surgery, microvascular surgery, and head and neck cancer. His commitment to education extends to teach>ing engagements at various universities, where he leads courses in microvascular surgery, reconstruc>tive surgery, and undergraduate/postgraduate training. Additionally, he is a national and international speaker, delivering lectures and conducting specialised courses worldwide.Professor Ahmed is also a contributor to the global oral cancer diploma, an interactive, self>directed online program designed to provide a standardised, evidence-based knowledge platform for multiple specialties involved in the treatment and management of oral cancer cases worldwide.Professor Ahmed also plays a key role in surgical education and governance.
