Thierry J. Noyelle is senior research scholar, Conservation of Human Resources, Columbia University. He is the author of several books, including Beyond Industrial Dualism: Market and Job Segmentation in the New Economy (Westview, forthcoming) and coauthor of Services/ The New Economy (1981) and The Economic Transformation of American Cities (1984). Thomas M. Stanback, Jr., is adjunct senior research scholar, Conservation of Human Resources, Columbia University, and professor of economics, New York University.
