HIROAKI MIYOSHI is Professor of Public Policy and Director of the Institute of Technology, Enterprise and Competiveness at Doshisha University, Japan. His principal research interests lie in the field of the economic analysis of new technology.MASANOBU KII is Associate Professor in the Faculty of Engineering of Kagawa University, Japan.
