Tainted Times: 100 Days of Prose

A poem a day for one hundred days in the summer of 2019. A time when this country, like many others around the world, followed a trend of unrest. The instability that troubled the hearts and minds of many searching for a candle in the darkness that would offer a sense of hope and sanity. We still peer behind the curtain, searching out into the darkness, consuming our horizon.Much of what I'm expressing is based on the reactions or thoughts to ongoing events during this period in my life, and in the lives of many sharing this timeline, some happenings conjured memories from other points in my past. One can only wonder what other unsettling events will come to light in the days following these.
