Swordmaster

On the day that Françoise de Montesquiou d’Artagnan wakes in a grave and discovers that her parents buried her accidentally after she slept for three days straight, she is determined to find the man who saved her from vampires. This task feels all but impossible, considering the only aspect of her saviour she knows for sure is his voice, since they met while she walked in a different world. Rather than suffering the fate of a convent life, Françoise runs away to Paris and finds people like her, members of the Benandanti. Those who were born in the caul as children, and can now pass into the spirit realm. Although she is embraced by those like her, Françoise soon discovers that vampires are a threat in the real world as well as to her spirit form - and that they sit in the highest positions in the land. It's up to her and the rest of the Benandanti to bring them down.
