"A very well written and arranged, easy to read reference book by notable experts in the subject of water management and technology for sustainability." — Dickson Ozokwelu, US Department of Energy, Bowie, Washington, D.C., USA"The two-volume set Sustainable Water Management and Technologies, edited and compiled by Daniel Chen, covers a broad spectrum of current-day issues and challenges in water resource management and stewardship arising from increased demand for energy, food, and water, and the rapid expansion of new technologies for energy production via Shale gas and unconventional hydrocarbons. Topics include current best practices for water purification and management, plus emerging developments in nano and biotechnology, as well as advanced separations to address future needs. It is what a handbook should be, a go-to reference set to provide background and grounding for a highly important area of science and technology." — Joseph B. Powell, Shell, Houston, Texas, USA
