‘Given the urgent need for action to promote sustainability in this Anthropocene Era, Sustainable Universities and Colleges is an important and timely piece for transforming our educational system. For systemic change to take place in business, government and society, a rethinking of how humans interact with the natural world for social and environmental sustainability at the individual, organizational, and institutional levels is critical. This book recognizes that higher education can serve as a vehicle for enacting new worldviews and approaches for sustainable transformation. It offers compelling solutions for reimagining university curricular frameworks and models to develop a sustainability mindset to benefit humanity and the planet in the long-term.’
