As the Head of the Department of Commerce at the Central University of Tamil Nadu, he has led impactful research projects, published extensively in reputed journals, and significantly contributed to the fields of geography and sustainable tourism through consultancy and teaching. Recognized globally for contributions to ecotourism and community-based tourism development, including UNEP-recognized case studies on ecotourism.S.
