Prof. Debi Prasad Mishra is the Director of NITTTR Kolkata and Professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering and Design Programme at IIT Kanpur. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the Centre for Indian Knowledge System, IIT Guwahati, and Chairman, Board of Governors, Government College of Engineering, Kalahandi. His academic and research interests include propulsion, combustion, CFD, and atomization. A recipient of the Indian Oil Golden Jubilee Professional Chair, he has authored 5 textbooks, 9 edited volumes, published over 260 papers, and holds 5 patents. He has successfully led 32+ research and consultancy projects with leading industries, R&D labs, and government agencies.A noted educator and MOOC content creator, he has developed 6 SWAYAM courses and introduced a unique course on “Introduction to Ancient Indian Technology”. He has delivered more than 1.5 lakh lectures on ancient Indian science, technology, and spiritual knowledge systems, and actively contributes to science popularization through media outreach. He advocates sustainable product design and has authored two books in Odiya. He is widely admired as a motivational speaker.Prof. Gayadhar Panda (Senior Member, IEEE) is Professor and Dean (Faculty & Academic Affairs), Department of Electrical Engineering, NITTTR Kolkata. He received his B.E. in Electrical Engineering from IEI (1996), M.E. in Power Electronics from BEC Shibpur (1998), and Ph.D. from Utkal University (2007). Before joining NITTTR Kolkata in 2024, he served at NIT Meghalaya for over a decade, holding roles including Professor, HoD, Dean (Academic Affairs), and Director (I/C). He has contributed significantly to institutional development, academic reforms, and research ecosystem strengthening. His research interests include power quality, smart grids, microgrids, power electronic converters, AGC, distributed energy systems, and AI-based control.Prof. Panda has authored 200+ papers, five book chapters, one book, and edited a volume under the Springer ISSETA series. He holds five patents, has delivered 33+ invited talks, and guided nine Ph.D. scholars. He has led several sponsored projects in renewable energy and power system optimization. He is a Fellow of IEI, Senior Member IEEE, Life Member ISTE, and serves as Associate Editor for IEEE Access and Wiley-ITES. He has been listed in Stanford University’s Top 2% Scientists (2020–2023) and received the Power Medal from IEI.Dr. Naayagi Ramasamy is Director (Equality, Diversity & Inclusion), Associate Professor, and Senior Tutor at Newcastle University in Singapore. She completed her B.E. in EEE with University First Rank and Gold Medal, M.E. in Power Electronics and Drives with University Second Rank and Gold Medal, and an M.Sc. in IT. She obtained her Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Manchester, supported by the prestigious Dorothy Hodgkin Postgraduate Award, becoming the first recipient from her school.With over 20 years of academic and research experience, she previously served at the University of Greenwich, UK. She is a Senior Member of IEEE and Life Member of ISTE. She chaired the IEEE PES Singapore Chapter (2019–2020), which received the IEEE High Performing Chapter Award (2020). She has held leadership roles in Women in STEM initiatives and diversity committees at Newcastle University.Dr. Ramasamy serves as Associate Editor of IEEE/CSEE JPES and reviews for leading journals and conferences. Her awards include the IEEE/CSEE JPES Excellent Young Subject Editor Award (2020) and IEEE PES Outstanding Engineer Award (2021). Her research areas include renewable energy in smart grids, power electronics for EVs and aerospace, low-carbon energy systems, and sustainable power electronic design.
