Travis Miller is the Head of Supply Chain Compliance and Social Responsibilityfor Google. He is responsible for supply chain strategy related to global compliance and social responsibility programs and initiatives. He serves as the Chairof Supplier Responsibility Steering Committee responsible for advising seniorexecutives on emerging regulatory trends, impacts on core business operations,and coherent strategy to address risk to business continuity and sustainabilitygoals. He formerly served as General Counsel of Assent, has written two additional books on CSR law and supply chain compliance, and has founded numerous start-ups dealing with international trade and regulatory compliance. Dr. Todd Cort works at the intersection of sustainability and investor value.Over the course of twenty years, in consulting and academia, he has applied ascientific and economic lens to corporate social and environmental responsibility (or sustainability) in order to identify the tools, mechanisms, metrics, andindicators that create the greatest value for investors, businesses, and society. Hehas worked extensively with companies and investors across industrial sectors.His experience ranges from “on the ground” implementation of sustainabilityprograms to corporate-level communication and investor strategy development.He has also worked extensively on integrated programs to meet regulatoryrequirements while promoting awareness and understanding of sustainabilitypriorities through communications and engagement with communities, regulators, policy makers, and internal stakeholders. He is currently a faculty memberat the Yale School of Management with courtesy appointment at the Yale Schoolof the Environment. He serves as Faculty Co-Director for the Yale Center forBusiness and the Environment (CBEY) and the Yale Initiative on SustainableFinance (YISF). He serves on a variety of advisory boards, including the JUSTCapital Scientific Advisory Board and the PRIME Coalition Academic AdvisoryCommittee. He is also currently a Board Member and Treasurer for Save theSound, a regional environmental nonprofit serving communities around LongIsland Sound.
