Dr. Mohd Asyraf Kassim received his PhD in Bioprocesses, focusing on bioconversion of renewable biomass into fine chemicals at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Monash University, Melbourne. He has worked in the field of applied microbiology including bioremediation, bioconversion of biofuel via biochemical technology and microalgal biotechnology. He currently is a senior lecturer at School of Industrial Technology, Universiti Sains Malaysia. Dr. Mardiana Idayu Ahmad received her PhD in Sustainable Energy Technologies at the Department of Architecture and Built Environment, Faculty of Engineering, University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. She is currently an Associate Professor in Environmental Technology, at the School of Industrial Technology, Universiti Sains Malaysia. Her research interests cover a broad spectrum, focusing on sustainable energy technologies and environmental management. Dr. RR Dirgarini Julia Nurlianti Subagyono is the Head of the Physical Chemistry Laboratory, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Mulawarman University, Indonesia. She earned her PhD and MSc in Chemistry from Monash University, Australia. Her research focuses on biofuels, biomass thermochemical conversion, catalysis, and mesoporous materials.
