Robert E Bristow MD MBA is Professor and Chair of the Division of Gynecologic Oncology, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University of California, Irvine – Medical Center in Orange, California, USA. Professor Bristow’s primary clinical and research interests include the surgical management of advanced-stage gynecologic cancer and the patterns of health care delivery for women with gynecologic cancer. Professor Karlan is the Editor-in-Chief of Gynecologic Oncology.Dennis S Chi MD is Professor and Deputy Chief of the Gynecology Service, Department of Surgery, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York, New York, USA. Dr Chi’s primary research interests include the correlation of radiographic evaluation and operative findings in gynecologic malignancies and the utilization of innovative and advanced surgical techniques to improve outcomes for women with early, advanced, or recurrent gynecologic cancers. He is on the editorial board of the journals Journal of Oncology and The Oncologist and has served as the president of the Society of Memorial Gynecologic Oncologists and the Metropolitan Gynecologic Cancer Society.
