Ian Eagleton is a former primary school teacher, now a reviewer, resource writer and picture book author whose first two books, Nen and the Lonely Fisherman and Violet’s Tempest, were widely acclaimed. Ian runs the Reading Realm online resource and enjoys running virtual workshops for children. He and his husband have recently become dads through adoption and this book is very much based on their own experiences of parenting a toddler. Ian lives in Essex.Hayley Wells is an Essex-based illustrator with an MA in Children's Book Illustration from Cambridge School of Art. Their work has been shortlisted for the World Illustration Awards, featured on television, and published worldwide. Superheroes in the Park is their first picture book for Otter-Barry Books.
