Super Mega Tortoise

Gareth Hopkins (Author) Gareth Hopkins is a debut author who came runner up in the Mercia Sound ‘young writers’ competition in the 1980s which proves two things: he is not a winner and he is well old now. Gareth has written adverts on the telly, adverts on the radio, adverts on ginormous billboards that make you want to buy a pair of trainers and run really fast. But when he’s not doing that, he LOVES writing stories for children. He lives in Warwickshire with his family.Beatrice Blue (Illustrator) Beatrice Blue is an author, illustrator and art director whose first book of the Once Upon . . . series was nominated for the Waterstones Children's Book Prize. Her books have been translated to more than 20 languages worldwide. She also works in animation, making films as an Art Director, including for the recently released Wolfboy and the Everything Factory for Apple TV+.. In her spare time, Beatrice loves travelling, colours, books, nature and her dog, Jungle, who appears in lots of her stories. She lives and works near Madrid, Spain.

This book is SUPER MEGA GOOD!...featuring plenty of chaos and mischief that children (and their grown-ups) will LOVE. One of my favourite books of 2026 so far
