MICHAEL HARRIS, Lecturer in History at the Centre for Extra-Mural Studies, Birbeck College, University of London, founded the Journal of Newspaper and Periodical History in 1984 and acted as executive director until 1993 when he organized the change to the Annual Studies volume.
