The authors do a masterful job of providing tools and resources that can be easily incorporated into an educator’s daily practice that leads to student success."Dr. Dedra Lee-Collins, Senior Director of Content Development and Programming, US PREP National Center, Texas Tech University"Making the shift from student engagement to true student ownership is one of the greatest challenges, and opportunities facing educators today. The authors provide practical strategies that teachers can read about today and implement tomorrow. Through small, intentional shifts, educators can create a ripple effect that leads to meaningful and lasting improvements in student learning. What makes this book especially powerful is its authenticity, every tool and resource has been tested and refined where it matters most: in classrooms with students. This is an essential resource for educators committed to empowering learners and creating conditions where true transformation can occur."Dr. Shasta Looper, Milken Educator"Student ownership is one of the most powerful drivers of student achievement, yet many educators struggle to move their students beyond engagement to true ownership.
