Rick Karlsruher is an American writer living in California. He grew up in Philadelphia drinking in the history, music, art, and stories of the city. His life has taken him around the world to see the good, the bad, the ugly, the silliness and kindness of the people across many continents. If it has words, Rick has written it. From advertising to poetry, songs, scripts and two books, he has put it on paper or tape. His first book, A Story Almost Told, recounts his attempts to get Standoff made into a movie. This took him from Los Angeles to Johannesburg to many stops in Europe and North America. A Story Almost Told reached #1 on Smashwords and Amazon for the memoir genre.
