He researches illegal markets, criminal violence, and international relations in the Americas. David J. Hornsby is Professor at the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs and the Vice-Provost (Academic & Global Learning) at Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada. David has published in international relations, particularly as it relates to Canadian foreign policy in Sub-Saharan Africa. David is the co-editor of the Palgrave series Political Pedagogies.
