SOUND OF THE BREAK

Elizabeth Price SOUND OF THE BREAK accompanies the homonymous Turner Prize winner's extensive solo exhibition at the Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt, presenting both new works and works shown in Germany for the first time. The publication, which was largely designed by the artist herself, takes a very unique approach. It presents the elements from which the videos on display are composedphotographs, animation frames, source materialsand at the same time discloses aspects of the artist's working process. As you flip through the book, you move through bodies of material dealing with different but related phenomena, as if following the timeline in one of Prices videos.
