Like many boys being raised by a single-parent in rural Arizona, Purdy longs to be a superhero, almost as much as he longs to lead a normal life. Unlike many boys in his situation, Purdy actually has a chance at making it work. First he must learn how to function in a parallel universe and the very real possibility that he cast his now absent father into this purgatory. Can he find his truth, rescue his father, and save the day without being found out?
