Julián Segura Camacho is a Lecturer in Chicano Studies at California State University, Long Beach. He holds M.A.'s in Latin American Studies and Urban Planning from the University of California, Los Angeles and is the author of the Chicano Treatise from the University Press of America.

As a native Angelino, Julian Camacho is not afraid to shine light on the current political and social issues affecting Mexicans north of the U.S.-Mexico border. Based on his life experience, Camacho dares to analyze and criticize the negative factors that continue to hinder Mexicans in the United States. Camacho's work reveals how discrimination and repression continue to affect Mexicans in Los Angeles.
