Martin O'Malley served as the Mayor of Baltimore from 1999 to 2007 and as the 61st Governor of Maryland from 2007 to 2015. He was the first leader to take CompStat—a crime-management system pioneered in New York City in the 1990s—and apply the same ideas at city- and state-wide scales. He currently resides in Baltimore, Maryland, with his family.Stephen Goldsmith was the 46th mayor of Indianapolis and also served as the Deputy Mayor of New York City for Operations.
