His areas of research include artificial intelligence, machine learning, embedded systems, signal processing, image processing, and video processing.Shabana Mehfuz (Senior Member, IEEE) is working as a professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Jamia Milia Islamia, India. She is a Life Member of ISTE, a member of the Institution of Engineers, and a Life Member of the Computer Society of India.
