Humairah Zainal is a Senior Research Fellow at Tan Tock Seng Hospital and an Associate Lecturer at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore. Trained as a sociologist, her work sits at the intersection of digital health, clinical care, medical education, and social inequality. She has published extensively, presented at leading international conferences, and been invited to speak at overseas institutions. Her work has also received multiple academic awards, including the SingHealth Publish Award (2026) in recognition of her outstanding research publication. In 2026, her research on integrating AI ethics into medical education was among the top papers selected for the Research Paper Award at the Association for the Study of Medical Education Conference in the United Kingdom. Zainal is also the recipient of NTU’s 2024 Alumni Star of Social Impact Award.
