The first in the "SilverWolf" series, Book One begins the telling of an epic which is sure to please all readers of Fantasy, Mystery, and Science Fiction.
When Tell's sister Sharona is pushed off a riverbank, she is badly injured and lays dying. In order to save her he digs deep within himself and heals her. A magical impulse roars outward and sets in motion a chain of events that changes them all forever, for his magic is a kind never before seen in history: nothing and no one can stand against him. He struggles with his power, for increasingly his actions or inactions result in death for someone, one way or another. He cannot refuse to help, yet neither will he let himself be used.
This sweeping story occurs over three thousand years after the Dragon Wars and is set within an emerging war between nations. Assassinations, murder, betrayal, spies, humor, happiness, honor, grief, distrust, and loss become his life as he and his family live through the realism of a war-torn nation facing an enemy that includes rebel Wizards, Elves, and Rebel Dragons.
Along the way he meets others, both good and bad: Dragons, Pirates, Wizards, the Sidhe, Faeries, Dryads, Nymphs, and Wolves.
This is a story about a young man forced unwillingly to become a leader, faced with incredible challenges and moral decisions which he is unprepared to make - but he still has to make them.
