Robert Louis Balfour Stevenson was a Scottish novelist, poet, essayist, and travel writer. His most famous works are Treasure Island, Kidnapped and Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. Burkhard Niederhoff is Professor of English Literature at Ruhr University Bochum.
