"There are so many introductory dermatology books that it is surprising to find one that distinguishes itself from all the others. This second edition (the first edition was published 2007) achieves the perfect balance between discussing basic dermatologic principles for nondermatologists and informing readers about the complexities and concerns that seasoned dermatologists would take into consideration with regards to evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment...All in all, this is a terrific book because it addresses the major pertinent concepts for understanding dermatology...Dermatology primers have different strengths. This book does it all." (Doody Enterprises June 2017)
