Shadow's Trip to the Vet involves children in dog ownership by guiding them through the process of taking the family dog to visit the vet. Claire Corridan promotes both preventative and emergent veterinary care in animals by teaching children how to recognise when their pet is feeling unwell and what to do to help them. Actively reducing stress levels in animals by learning how to recognise stress how to respond to a stressed animal and what to do to help improves knowledge and encourages empathy for both animals and people.
