Octavian Adrian Postolache is Senior Researcher at the Instituto de Telecomunicações, Instrumentation and Measurement Group, Lisboa and Associate Professor with Habilitation at ISCTE - Instituto Universitario de Lisboa, Portugal. His fields of interest include smart sensors, pervasive computing, smart environments and devices for physical therapy assessment, wireless sensor networks, signal processing and data analytics, sensors for automated port terminals, Internet of Things and applications.Edward Sazonov is Head of the Computer Laboratory of Ambient and Wearable Systems, and Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Alabama, USA. His research interests span ambient and wearable sensors and devices for human behaviour recognition and modification, and methods of biomedical signal processing and pattern recognition.Subhas Chandra Mukhopadhyay is Professor of Mechanical and Electronics Engineering with the School of Engineering, Macquarie University, Australia. His fields of interest include sensors and sensing technology, instrumentation, wireless sensor networks, IoT, and mechatronics and robotics.
