This factual narrative goes deep into socio-economic and political turmoil the Eritrean population, in general, and the younger generation, in particular, are going through. Following the upbringing of a youngster whose father gets conscripted in the national service and ends up for decades the narrative depicts revealing events that affect an Eritrean family. It follows the journey of the Senay, the youngster, who discontinues his promising studies in a higher education institute to flee Eritrea to Ethiopia to reach Europe crossing through the Sahara desert and over the Mediterranean Sea.
