Vesela Radovic is a Senior Researcher in the Institute for Multidisciplinary Research, Belgrade University, Serbia. Dr Radovic has extensive experience in researching and managing international and national projects, and is actively fostering interdisciplinary approaches to emergency management and sustainable development.

Radovic presents the basic elements in Agenda 2030 regarding the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 16, which she characterizes as the most ambitious of all the Goals. She provides insights into the importance of including peace as a priority in the post-2015 agenda, describes how an international commitment to the creation of a just society can be implemented in an unstable globalized world and put at the forefront of public debate, and surveys efforts and obstacles that come with the Agenda 2030 target of creating an inclusive society to ensure that no one is left behind.
