ROBERT A. COLLINS is Professor of English at Florida Atlantic University, where he founded the International Conference on the Fantastic in the Arts in 1980. With Howard Pearce, he edited the first two volumes of essays from the Conference (Scope of the Fantastic, 2 vols., 1985), and with Rob Latham four volumes of Science Fiction and Fantasy Book Review Annual, 1988-1991, all from Greenwood Press. He has also edited Fantasy Review, the SFRA Newsletter and IAFN Newsletter, and serves as Associate Editor of the Journal of the Fantasic in the Arts.ROBERT LATHAM teaches at Stanford University. He is the author of various articles in JFA, Utopian Studies, American Book Review, Fantasy Review, Necrofile, SFRA Review, and in various anthologies (Celebration of the Fantastic, The Vampire as Metaphor). With Robert A. Collins, he has edited four volumes of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Book Review Annual, 1988-1991 (Greenwood Press). He has also served as Review Editor for Fantasy Review, SFRA Review, IAFA Newsletter, and other publications.
