Kristen Perrin is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of How to Solve Your Own Murder, and its sequels How to Seal Your Own Fate and How to Cheat Your Own Death. Her books have been translated into thirty languages. How to Solve Your Own Murder was also an Indiebound and Der Spiegel bestseller, has been long listed for the CWA Golden Dagger Award, and was an ALA Alex Award winner in 2025. She fell in love with books as a child, and one of her first jobs was working as a bookseller in the children's section at her local Barnes and Noble. She is originally from Seattle, but currently lives in England, where she is working on more books in her series. When she's not writing, she volunteers at the library, goes fossil hunting on the English coast, and takes lots of muddy walks with her husband and two kids.
