BARBARA EVANS CLEMENTS is Professor of History Emeritus at the University of Akron. She is the author and co-editor of several books on Russian women's history, the most recent of which is Bolshevik Women. REBECCA FRIEDMAN is Assistant Professor of History at Florida International University in Miami. DAN HEALEY is Lecturer in the Department of History at the University of Wales, Swansea.
