Prof Dr Enver Bytyçi was born on April 4th 1955 in the village of Myç – Has in the Has district of Kukës County, Albania. For more than four years, he has been a professor of history, political science, and international relations at Albanian University – Tirana, Albania.For eight years prior to that, he has lectured in these fields at "Aleksandër Moisiu" University in Durrës, Albania. He has also given lectures at several universities, such as the University of Graz (Austria), the University of Tirana (Albania), the University of Prizren (Kosovo), and the University of Peja (Kosovo). He is the founder and executive director of the Institute of Southeastern European Studies based in Tirana – Albania and its branch in Prishtina – Kosovo.Professor Bytyçi is the author of over ten monographs, many scientific articles in journals both inside and outside his country, as well as an expert on international, European, and regional developments on television stations in Albania. He is also a columnist for the national Albanian-language newspaper "Bota sot." Cambridge Scholars Publishing has published two of his monographs in English: "Coercive Diplomacy of NATO in Kosovo" (2015) and "In the Shadows of Albania-China Relations - 1960-1978" (2022), along with the current volume.
